China-Brazil Cultural Exchange Exhibition Center officially opened in Rio
Xinhua News Agency, Rio de Janeiro, November 6 (Reporter Chen Weihua and Zhao Yan) the China-Brazil Cultural Exchange and Exhibition Center jointly built by a number of Chinese enterprises in Brazil was officially opened to the public in Rio de Janeiro on the 6th and will be extended until the end of this year.
Li Yang, Chinese consul general in Rio de Janeiro, said at the opening ceremony that Chinese enterprises have been in Brazil for many years, but many Brazilians do not know much about the social contribution of Chinese enterprises. This is the first time a similar event has been held in Rio. It reviewed the performance of Chinese enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibilities and improving local people's livelihood in Brazil and helped to enhance mutual understanding between the two peoples.
Barros, representative of the Cultural Bureau of the City of Rio de Janeiro, said that the development of Chinese enterprises in Brazil has narrowed the gap between the two peoples and promoted closer cultural exchanges between the two countries. Chinese enterprises have promoted local economic development and made positive contributions to the implementation of social responsibility.
Chang Zhongjiao, general manager of China State Grid Brazil holding Company, said: as a Chinese enterprise developing in Brazil, we will continue to seek investment opportunities in Brazil to better serve Brazil's economic development in the longer term. We will continue to actively fulfill our corporate civil social responsibilities, promote people-to-people exchanges between China and Pakistan, and contribute to the China-Pakistan Friendship Building.
The China-Pakistan Cultural Exchange and Exhibition Center is divided into five exhibition areas, showing that Chinese enterprises follow the principle of mutual benefit and win-win results, actively integrate into the local society, and make important contributions to local development through pictures, videos, sand table models and other forms. The exhibition center will also hold small cultural salons, forums, performances, press conferences and other activities, so that local people who come to visit will have the opportunity to experience the charm of Chinese culture at close range.
