Public security department reminds: "fry shoes hot" hidden trap
Xinhua News Agency, Nanjing, 7 Nov (Reporter Zhu Guoliang)-- "maintain rational consumption and insist on 'whether to wear shoes or not to stir-fry'." Nanjing Public Security Bureau released three cases of fraud on the 6th, explaining in detail the routines and reminding "enthusiasts" of shoe collection to guard against the trap behind the "shoe speculation craze."
Recently, a wave of "fry shoes" raging attack, a variety of limited, joint, the latest sneakers "speculation" out of the sky, a pair of shoes often thousands or even tens of thousands of yuan. Under the temptation of "to buy is to earn", many people are eager to try regardless of risks, but they do not know that some lawbreakers have already set up various routines and are waiting for them to fall into a trap. In response, the Nanjing Public Security Bureau issued three cases on the 6th, warning of the hidden risks behind the "shoe speculation craze."
Case 1: Lu Mou, a student studying in Jiangning, Nanjing, is an avid shoe collector. In early March this year, he joined a limited edition sneaker sales exchange group. Netizens in the group are active, many people have bought shoes from the group owner, but also said that they received the goods, which were identified as authentic. So Lu also put down his guard and remitted 380000 yuan to each other to buy shoes within 3 months. Do not want only the first two received shoes, and then the other side to customs inspection and other reasons to delay delivery, and finally simply "block."
Case 2: under the temptation of making a lot of money, Xiao Wu, a college student, is credulous to WeChat moments of advertising, with the intention of buying five pairs of AIR JORDAN sneakers on behalf of "Chinese students studying abroad." As a result, he was cheated out of deposits, payments and advances totaling 27000 yuan under various pretexts.
Case 3: Xiao Wang, a resident of Qixia District, Nanjing, is very fond of playing basketball. At the same time, he is also a basketball shoe collection "enthusiast" and has his own favorite brand. Not long ago, he browsed online posts and saw that someone had posted that he had his favorite brand of basketball shoes. He was determined to start with a pair first, and if there was no problem, he would make a lot of money by hoarding a few pairs. No, after the other party received a deposit of more than 1000 yuan, there was no reply.
The police said that in the first case, those "active netizens" were actually "water armies." They will set up a number of "fried shoes", every day to publish "fried shoes" to pick up the goods of the "message", the new group of "rookies" to brainwash. In the second case, the "overseas student" was not at all abroad, and by means of one person "playing multiple roles", he played the role of "foreign student", "American shipper" and "cushion" one after another, gradually dispelling the doubts of the victims. The third case is relatively direct, that is, the use of "enthusiasts" eager psychology to carry out fraud. "fry shoes hot" also gave birth to a series of chaos, such as sneakers ticket software, sneakers insider trading, fake shoes industry and so on.
The Nanjing police reminded that "stir-fried shoes" is essentially a kind of hunger marketing, with hidden tricks behind it, "bookmakers" who add fuel to the flames, "retail investors" who are hot and hot, and "liars" who are sophisticated. In the end, what I lied to was the "Mengxin" who pretended to know nothing about it. This is similar to previous scams such as "stir-fry Pu'er" and "stir-fry yellow pear wood".
Nanjing police appeal to the majority of consumers to maintain rational consumption, adhere to "shoes do not fry", let sneakers return to their original value, and through formal channels to buy sneakers, do not speculate, be careful to become the "leek" harvested by others.
