Of this amount, 250 million yuan was used to support drought relief and disaster reduction in disaster-stricken areas, and 168 million yuan was used to help people affected by the disaster.

It is understood that the Emergency Management Department has sent eight working groups to Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Shanxi and other disaster-stricken provinces to guide and assist local governments in drought relief work.

According to the person in charge of the Emergency Management Department, the State disaster reduction Commission and the Emergency Management Department have successively launched national level IV disaster relief emergency responses to droughts in Hubei, Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, and other provinces. We will set up more than 400 "drought fighting and livelihood protection" teams in front of comprehensive fire and rescue forces to prepare for special drought and severe drought areas, take various measures to carry out drought prevention and drought relief, and make every effort to ensure the basic living water of the people affected by the disaster.
