When the Northeast Grain builds a "straight Bridge"-- the New practice of one-stop Huinong in Jinzhou Port
Xinhua News Agency, Shenyang, 8 Nov (Reporter Zhang Fefei and Zou Mingzhong)-- during the autumn grain sales season in Northeast China, Tian Hongwu, a big grain grower in Keshan County, Heilongjiang Province, is stepping up drying and loading corn and sending it to southern grain enterprises one after another through Jinzhou Port. This year, in partnership with Jinzhou Port in Liaoning Province, he signed an order for about 70,000 tons of corn, which has been built on a "straight-through bridge" and can enjoy the "one-stop" service provided by Jinzhou Port.
Jinzhou Port signed a guaranteed purchase order with Tian Hongwu and signed a grain consumption agreement with grain enterprises as early as this spring broadcast. During the autumn harvest, the grain is delivered directly to the designated grain depot nearby, and Jinzhou Port, in coordination with the transportation department, transports the grain to the grain enterprise.
"before we cooperated with Jinzhou Port, we had to find our own market, and we were often depressed by grain vendors. For example, in 2016, we lost 10 yuan per ton. Coupled with the poor grain price that year, we lost 3 million yuan a year. There is no need to worry at all. Grain can enter the grain depot nearby, avoid repeated reversals and layers of prices, and you can choose your own time to sell grain in the autumn. " Tian Hongwu said.
Tian Hongwu is only one of the many grain growers who cooperate with Jinzhou Port. Through cooperation with Jinzhou Port, farmers' grain is like a "straight-through bridge", improving logistics efficiency and reducing intermediate losses.
According to the usual practice, corn in Northeast China is harvested and stored in the field, sold by "threshing", dried by drying towers, and then trafficked to Liaoning port many times by grain vendors and transporters, and transported by water to southern grain enterprises for many times. There will be an increase in costs each time, and there may be wear and tear. As an important node of grain transportation in Northeast China, Jinzhou Port can coordinate railway, shipping and road transportation and improve the efficiency of logistics organization.
Ji Guohua, manager of the grain project department at Jinzhou Port Operations Center, said that as a commodity, the efficiency of logistics affects the efficiency of grain enterprises. Generally speaking, corn warehousing costs 0.2 yuan per ton per day, which is not a small amount for some large grain enterprises. Jinzhou Port coordinates the transport department, strengthens the connection between the various types of transportation, and is now working towards "direct access to vehicles and ships."
"our model is not a single leading enterprise to serve farmers, but a consortium of leading enterprises to serve farmers." Ji Guohua said that through the integration of "seed storage, transportation and marketing" links, to build a bridge between farmers and the market, with systematic services to promote the increase of farmers' income.
