Geotechnical relics include cave temples, soil sites, cliff caves, cliff statues, tombs, murals and other types. Of the about 900000 immovable cultural relics in the country, geotechnical cultural relics buildings and sites account for about half. Li Li, director of the Cultural Heritage Restoration Institute of the Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage, said at the seminar that in recent years, the Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage and other cultural heritage protection and scientific research institutions have carried out basic research and practical work on the protection of more than 30 geotechnical cultural relics throughout the country.
