It has become the first physical factory in Germany to produce single-mode optical fiber.
According to reports, the single-mode optical fiber products produced by the factory will be aimed at European customers. The joint venture is planned for two phases, with a total investment of 15 million euros in the first phase and the second phase is expected to start next year. The first phase of the plant consists of four production lines with a designed capacity of 3 million core kilometers per year.
