Romanian National Bank issues coins commemorating the 70th Anniversary of diplomatic Relations between Romania and China

Speaking at the issuing ceremony, Mugur Isarescu, president of the Romanian National Bank, said that over the past 70 years, Romanian-Chinese relations have continued to develop on the basis of mutual respect, support and friendship. Radu Safta, director of the General Administration of Global Affairs of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Romania and China and the 15th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive friendly and cooperative partnership. Against the background of the increasingly complex international situation, Romania is willing to continue to strengthen dialogue and coordination with China in multilateral and bilateral affairs, and to actively participate in the Eurasian connectivity strategy, the "Belt and Road Initiative" initiative and China-CEE cooperation.
