Opening of the second China-CEE Forum on Cooperation between small and medium-sized Enterprises
Xinhua News Agency, Shijiazhuang, 9 Nov (Reporter Feng Weijian) the second China-CEE small and medium-sized Enterprises Cooperation Forum opened on the 9th in the China-Czech Industrial Park in Bohai New District, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, and 18 projects were signed at the opening ceremony. The total investment amounted to 4.744 billion yuan.
According to reports, of the 18 projects, the China-Central and Eastern Europe (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Zone accounts for 6 projects, with a total investment of 1.981 billion yuan.
In February 2018, the China-Central and Eastern Europe (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Zone was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This is the 10th Sino-foreign SME cooperation zone established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is also the only cooperation zone for small and medium-sized enterprises in Central and Eastern European countries, which has set up an important platform for strengthening exchanges and cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries. So far, the zone has introduced more than 60 foreign-related projects, involving general aviation, high-end manufacturing and other fields, with a total investment of more than 58 billion yuan.
The forum, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the people's Government of Hebei Province, lasted for three days with the theme of "pragmatism, innovation and sharing". More than 700 people from well-known enterprises, universities and trade associations at home and abroad attended the opening ceremony. A series of activities such as the International General Aviation Industry Cooperation and Development Fair and the Central and Eastern European Import and Export Commodities Fair will be held at the same time during the Forum.
