Chongqing: litigation activities "online" to enhance the sense of judicial access of the masses
Xinhua News Agency, Chongqing, 14 Nov (Reporter Zhou Wentao) Chongqing Court innovated judicial measures to facilitate the people, using information means to promote the construction of a modern litigation service system, so that the people can participate in litigation and resolve disputes without leaving their homes.
It is understood that from January to September this year, Chongqing courts filed a total of 150000 cases online, resolving contradictions and disputes and triage cases by means of mediation appointed before and during the lawsuit, and successfully mediating 30, 000 cases. Relying on the "easy lawsuit" system jointly developed by the Chongqing Court, the "easy Court" App and other platforms, the parties can file cases, pay fees, mediate and even hold hearings on the Internet, so as to realize the litigation activities of "one Netcom". At the same time, the Chongqing Court has also launched a global filing system, which provides a convenient channel for the parties to apply for filing or handle litigation affairs in different places.
In the docking link, there is also a lot of "on-line" shadow. In Chongqing, from January to September this year, 2387 mediation organizations and 7972 mediators were stationed on the "easy-to-understand" online platform of the Chongqing Court, relying on this platform to handle 44000 assigned and entrusted mediation cases, and 23000 successful mediation cases. It has effectively promoted the diversion of complex and simple cases and the rational allocation of judicial resources.
Huang Mingyao, vice president of the Chongqing higher people's Court, said that the Chongqing Court will further promote the all-round integration of judicature and science and technology, speed up the upgrading and transformation of the litigation service hall, and add an intelligent litigation service area. We will promote online filing and cross-border filing of cases, promote the in-depth integration of online and offline litigation services, and constantly enhance the people's sense of judicial access.
