Discovery and naming of 11 endemic New species in Hainan

At present, new species information has been included in the International Plant name Index ((International Plant Names Index)).
Liu Guodao, vice president and researcher of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, told reporters that the new species discovered include Cyperaceae and Orchidaceae. In addition, 11 new records have been found in China and 85 in Hainan. The discovery of these new species is a major breakthrough in the exploration of species resources in Hainan in recent decades. It not only enriches the floristic data of Hainan, but also rich in important ecological significance, which is of great scientific value.
