Anhui: 66 corruption-related "umbrella"-related "net" public officials surrendered

A total of 66 corruption-related "umbrellas" and "net" public officials surrendered in the province.

In April this year, after the supervision of the 14th Supervision Group for the suppression of triad and Evil by the Central Committee in Anhui, discipline inspection and supervision organs at all levels in Anhui continued to strictly investigate criminal and evil corruption, find out the "protective umbrella," and break through the "network of relationships." From April to October this year, a total of 1436 people in the province investigated and dealt with 1205 cases of triad-related corruption and "umbrella network" problems, and 1033 people were punished by party discipline and government affairs and transferred to procuratorial organs.
According to reports, the supervision committee of the Anhui Provincial discipline Inspection Commission has overall deployed the supervision committees and resident agencies of the discipline inspection commissions at the provincial, municipal, and county levels, and gathered together the forces to handle cases in various ways, such as "connecting cases, directly investigating and handling them directly, leading and supervising them, sponsoring and participating in handling them, and designating cross-handling in different places." The principal responsible persons of the county and district party committees and discipline inspection commissions, who are not effective in investigating and dealing with problems such as crime, evil, corruption, and "umbrella" and "net," should use interviews to urge the compaction of their responsibilities. Since April, a total of 571 cases of dereliction of duty have been investigated and dealt with in the province.
Up to now, all the issues transferred by the Central Supervision Group have been rectified, all the clues to the key cases transferred have been completed, the accountability recommendations for the transfer have all been investigated and disposed of, and 94.86% of the reports on letters and visits from the masses have been completed.
