Dunhuang Exhibition of "Silk Road Pearl Digital Eternity" opens in Israel

The exhibition mainly displays a variety of exquisite murals and sculptures and other artistic treasures in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes to Israeli viewers through digital technology and painting exhibitions, which provides a valuable opportunity for viewers to explore and discover the history, culture and art of Mogao Grottoes. By wearing virtual reality glasses and watching high-definition images, the audience can enjoy the artistic charm of Mogao Grottoes in an all-round way.
On the opening night, the audience put on virtual reality glasses and "walked into" the Mogao Grottoes, admiring them while admiring them. At the scene of the exhibition, experts from the Dunhuang Academy also held a lecture entitled "Dunhuang to the World" to share the artistic charm of the Mogao Grottoes with the audience from the perspective of history and art.
Tao Chen, director of the Tel Aviv Chinese Cultural Center, said at the opening ceremony that Dunhuang is a famous historical and cultural shrine in China, an important city on the Silk Road in ancient China, and a busy trade route connecting China, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. The Mogao Grottoes are famous for their Buddhist murals and sculptures, and the exhibition will be an important opportunity for the Israeli people to learn about the Mogao Grottoes.
Wang Chunsheng, deputy inspector of the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said that the 45000 square meters of Dunhuang murals, which have been formed in more than 1600 years, are the longest, largest, richest and most well preserved "art museum" in the world. It is a unique treasure of painting art in human history. The Digital Dunhuang Exhibition and the Pilgrimage Dunhuang Chinese painting Exhibition are of great significance in promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between China and Israel and enhancing the profound friendship between the people of the two countries.
