Light and Shadow with Childhood 2019 China International Children's Film Exhibition opens in Guangzhou
Xinhua News Agency, Guangzhou, 15 Nov (Reporter Deng Ruixuan) in recent years, with the continuous publication of a number of outstanding films, such as "the return of the Great Sage,"the birth of the Devil Boy of Naga," and so on, children's films have also become a topic of increasing concern. On the 14th, the 2019 China International Children's Film Festival opened in Guangzhou with the theme of "childlike innocence looking at the world, light and shadow with childhood-- the same dream with the country, and the shadow child walk".
The film festival lasts for five days. Will hold Chinese and foreign children's film exhibition, China International Children's Film Forum, children's film project venture capital, children's film new film fair, children's film copyright fair, The fourth excellent children's film (including animation) screenplay solicitation activities and primary and secondary school students micro-film exhibition and other activities.
The festival collected 146 outstanding Chinese and foreign children's films from nearly 30 countries and regions, and finally entered the exhibition of 68 works covering feature films, cartoons, documentaries and other films. Related to parent-child family relationship, growth, sports, natural environmental protection and other topics.
Outstanding Chinese and foreign films, such as "Owl Forest,"Romi's Barber Shop,"Crossing Zhaoguan,"making trouble at Heavenly Palace," and other outstanding films will be shown in many cinemas, primary and secondary schools, communities, and children's palaces in Guangzhou, and the film creation team will also meet and communicate with the audience. For special groups of children, the festival also features "ears'to see 'movies" public welfare shows.
Organizers expressed the hope that through film exhibition, the vast number of young children can not only enjoy excellent Chinese and foreign children's films, but also learn about the history and culture of different countries and regions of the world, increase their knowledge, and build up national self-confidence.
The opening film "Dot Xingguang" is adapted from a real person and tells the story of an ordinary rural primary school in Guangzhou. By chance, the teacher tied the knot with the students and skipped rope, and went through twists and turns. The end result is the story of more than 20 world champions and breaking more than a dozen world records in rope skipping. "We want to focus on small potatoes to reflect the big times, let children see hope in the movies, maintain childlike innocence, stick to their dreams." Director and screenwriter Xie Deju said.
As an international children's film culture event, after 30 years of accumulation, China International Children's Film Exhibition has become a platform for the country to promote film and television education activities for primary and middle school students and exchange between Chinese and foreign children's films.
