Gansu Rural Clean heating people bid farewell to soot
Xinhua News Agency, Lanzhou, November 16 (Reporter Zhou Yuan and Bai Liping) after the Beginning of Winter, the minimum temperature in Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, has dropped to about minus 5 ℃. Entering the "heating season", the rural areas here are carrying out clean heating renovation projects, and ordinary people will bid farewell to soot.
"I used to use all bituminous coal. As soon as the coal was put into the stove, I could see black smoke coming out, and black oil dripping down the chimney from time to time. In less than two days there was a thin layer of ash in the room, and you could smell soot from the yard. " Yuzhong County Xia Guanying Town Gaojiaya Village villagers Liu Mingchun said.
Liu Mingchun and his family were the first families in the village to participate in the heating transformation. "now anthracite is clean and hygienic, has no sore throat in winter, and is more resistant to burning." Liu Mingchun calculated an account, "before the transformation, a heating season needs to burn nearly 2 tons of bituminous coal, now anthracite no more than 1.5 tons, the cost has not changed much."
The reporter visited and saw that although every household in the village had lit a stove, there was no "big black smoke" and there was no unpleasant smoke in the air. Villagers told reporters that only when adding coal can you see a little smoke.
According to Gao Yuguo, secretary of the party branch of Gaojiaya Village, because of its economy and environmental protection, more than 400 households, a total of more than 1600 people, basically implemented the clean heating renovation project at the end of 2018.
The rural clean heating renovation project also ensures the heating of the masses. Whenever the weather turns cold, Zhou Mingyun, a villager in Chengguan Town, Yuzhong County, worries about the heating of his home: in a two-story building of 230 square meters, the only iron stove can only heat the living room, while other rooms can only rely on "shivering."
This winter, he installed a set of gasifier heating equipment. It was also burning a stove, but through the radiator, all the rooms were warm. After the completion of the equipment transformation, Zhou Mingyun chose cleaner and environmentally friendly anthracite. "now the room is clean, and the children cough less." Zhou Mingyun said.
According to reports, the use of clean briquette in the key control areas of Yuzhong County has benefited more than 30,000 rural households. The local plan is to achieve full coverage of clean coal products in rural areas by 2020.
