Heilongjiang starts Class IV Emergency response to Major Meteorological disasters
Xinhua News Agency, Harbin, 17 Nov (Reporter Yang Zhe) Heilongjiang Meteorological Observatory released a forecast on the 17th that from the night of the 17th to the 18th, the snowfall in Heihe, Yichun, Suihua, Harbin, and other places in Heilongjiang Province was expected to be more than 6 millimeters. The snowfall in some areas can reach more than 20 mm, on the basis of which the Heilongjiang Meteorological Bureau launched the Class IV emergency response order for major meteorological disasters.
According to the forecast of the Heilongjiang Meteorological Observatory, from the night of the 17th to the 18th, snowfall in the Heihe, Yichun, Suihua, Harbin, Hegang, Jiamusi, Shuangyashan, Qitai River, Jixi, and Mudanjiang areas of Heilongjiang Province is expected to be more than 6 mm. Among them, the eastern part of Harbin, Jiamusi, Shuangyashan, Qitaihe, Jixi, Mudanjiang more than 10 mm, Shuangyashan, Qitai River, Jixi, Mudanjiang, Jiamusi local area can reach more than 20 mm. In the above areas, there are 4-5 winds, gust 6-7, wind blowing snow phenomenon, low visibility, snow resistance in some areas, and the roads which have an impact on traffic are frozen.
According to the above situation, Heilongjiang Meteorological Bureau has entered the state of grade IV emergency response. Harbin, Mudanjiang, Jiamusi, Suihua, Heihe, Yichun, Jixi, Shuangyashan, Hegang, Qitaihe Meteorological Bureau to maintain the corresponding emergency response state.
