Xi Jinping accepts new foreign ambassadors to China to submit credentials
Beijing, 22 Nov (Xinhua) on the afternoon of 22 November, State President Xi Jinping accepted the credentials of the new ambassadors of 19 countries to China at the Great Hall of the people.
Outside the north gate of the Great Hall of the people, the courtesy soldiers were neatly divided, and the trumpeter sounded the welcome horn. The envoys arrived one after another, ascended the red carpet, entered the Beijing Hall, and submitted their credentials to Xi Jinping in turn. They are: ambassador Manyika of Latvia, Ambassador Miao Danpei of Myanmar, Ambassador he Weimin of the Netherlands, Ambassador Husseini of Jordan, Ambassador Su Lan of Slovenia, Ambassador Baodamin of Canada, Ambassador Compaore of Burkina Faso, Ambassador Kembao of Laos, Ambassador Rachmani of Brunei, Ambassador Fan Xingmei of Viet Nam, Ambassador Delgado of Costa Rica, Ambassador Zaman of Bangladesh, Ambassador Kimonio of Rwanda, Ambassador Atayu of Thailand, Ambassador Badri of Egypt, Ambassador Ganlin of Panama, Ambassador Lu Deyao of Singapore, Ambassador Koishbayev of Kazakhstan and Ambassador Pereira of Cuba.
Xi Jinping welcomed the envoys of various countries to take office in China and asked them to convey their sincere greetings and best wishes to the leaders and people of their respective countries. Xi Jinping pointed out: China attaches great importance to the development of friendly relations with other countries, and is willing to enhance political mutual trust with other countries, deepen practical cooperation, strengthen people-to-people exchanges, and jointly build "Belt and Road Initiative" for the better benefit of the people of all countries. The Chinese Government will provide convenience and support for the diplomatic envoys of all countries to perform their duties, and hopes that the envoys will make positive contributions to deepening the friendship between China and other countries and promoting the development of bilateral relations.
The envoys conveyed the cordial greetings of the leaders of their respective countries to Xi Jinping and spoke highly of the great achievements made by New China since the founding of the people's Republic of China 70 years ago, as well as China's positive and constructive role in safeguarding world peace and promoting common development. They said that all countries are willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China and actively participate in the joint construction of "Belt and Road Initiative." They are deeply honored to go to China and will devote themselves to promoting the development of bilateral relations between their respective countries and China.
