"Beauty and Friendship in the Future" Youth International Photography Exhibition held in Romania
Bucharest, 22 Nov (Xinhua) the "Beauty and Friendship in the Future" Youth International Photography Exchange Exhibition and the Silk Road National Youth International Photography Competition International Tour Exhibition on the 22nd in Bucharest. Romanian National Library opens.
A total of 52 award-winning works, including photographs by two Romanian teenagers, are on display. According to reports, the Silk Road Photography Competition is the first international youth photography competition with the theme of the Silk Road country. The competition has received more than 260000 contributions from more than 50 countries and regions. The exhibition has been exhibited in Colombo, Sri Lanka and Sydney, Australia.
Zhao Shaohua, chairman of the jury of the film competition, said in his speech at the opening ceremony that photography, as a special subject that combines science and technology with art, is gradually becoming an effective way and main form for young people to improve their artistic accomplishment. It is hoped that through the Silk Road Photography Competition, which is a cultural exchange platform, more young people can see the world from the point of view of appreciation, mutual learning and sharing, promote the exchange and mutual learning of different civilizations and harmonious symbiosis, and actively contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Ms. Cazar, Deputy Secretary of State of the Romanian Ministry of Culture, praised the inclusiveness, professionalism and diversity of the Silk Road Photography Competition, and hoped that Romania and China would continue to strengthen cooperation and exchanges in various cultural fields. Totte, president of the Romanian European Photography Association, encouraged Luozhong young people to open up the world of photography and make common progress in learning and exchanging with each other.
The two-week exhibition is jointly organized by the Chinese Cultural Center in Bucharest, the Chinese and Foreign Cultural Exchange Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Chinese Art Photography Society and the China Century Altar World Art Center.
