China successfully launches two Beidou 3 global networking satellites
Xichang, 23 Nov (Xinhua) at 08:55 on 23 November, China used the long March 3B carrier rocket (and supporting the upper stage of Expedition 1) at the Xichang Satellite launch Center. The 50th and 51st Beidou navigation satellites were successfully launched in the form of "one arrow and two stars".
The two satellites belong to the middle circle earth orbit satellite, which is the networking satellite of Beidou 3 system under construction in our country at present. After more than three hours of flight, the satellite smoothly entered the scheduled orbit, the follow-up will be tested in orbit, timely access to the network to provide services.
The Beidou Navigation Satellite and the supporting launch vehicle (and the upper stage of the supporting Expeditionary No. 1) were developed by the Micro Satellite Innovation Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the launch vehicle Technology Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd.
This is the 319th flight of the long March series of carrier rockets.
