Wang Yi: G20 should provide political guidance for IMF Reform
Xinhua News Agency, Nagoya, Japan, 23 Nov (Reporter Guo Dan) on 23 November local time, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the G20 Foreign Ministers' meeting in Nagoya, Japan. Wang Yi said that the current international financial system fails to reflect the representation and voice of emerging markets and developing countries in the world economy. The 15th round of IMF share checks ended disappointingly as a result of the negative attitude of individual members. We need to promote the 16th round of the General Inspection of shares to be launched as soon as possible and make substantive progress. The G20 should continue to provide political guidance for reform and ensure that the momentum and direction remain unchanged.
