Qinghai Province raises monthly minimum wage to 1700 yuan

Xinhua News Agency, Xining, 23 Nov (Reporter Mutiecheng) the reporter learned from the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Qinghai Province that in order to ensure the basic livelihood of workers in the province and in the light of the reality of economic and social development, Qinghai Province has adjusted the minimum wage. The minimum monthly wage in the province will be adjusted to 1700 yuan, and the new standard will be implemented from January 1, 2020.

This adjustment is applicable to all kinds of enterprises, private non-enterprise units, individual industrial and commercial households with employed workers and labourers who have formed labor relations with them, as well as state organs, institutions, social organizations and workers who have established labor relations with them. The monthly minimum wage is applicable to full-time employed workers, and the hourly minimum wage is applicable to part-time employed workers.

According to the latest standard, the monthly minimum wage standard has been adjusted from the current unified 1500 yuan / month to 1700 yuan / month; the hourly minimum wage standard will not be adjusted for the time being, and will continue to be implemented at 15.2 yuan / hour.
